Jugar - Tocar. To play in Spanish

The verb TO PLAY in Spanish uses two different verbs:

One for instruments (TOCAR) and one for playing for fun (JUGAR)

Yo toco el piano. I play the piano

Mi hija juega con su amiga. My daughter plays with her friend
