Learning ser and estar with Rafa Nadal

Rafa es el número uno

Note the different usage of Ser and Estar. Locate all verbs and specify it´s conjugation.

Lessons of light

Le Flâneur (music by The XX) from Luke Shepard on Vimeo.

Paris is another city of light, traditional and eternal. Beautifully designed by the old refined architects  who influenced the designers of our modern cities. They know how important light is to make the streets look beautiful, and that's a matter of quality, not quantity. A light in the proper place is better than a thousand without a purpose.

The same as learning a language!

Stories of color in the city of light

New York is a city of light.

As clouds recede the big open skies light the streets and it's windows.

Skyscrapers, as reunited lighthouses, wait for the night to shine.

Why learn Spanish? ¿Por qué aprender español?

"Aquí se habla español" by Twinkletinker

"Every child in the United States should learn Spanish... Chinese makes a terrific addition to Spanish, but not a substitute."
Nicholas D. Kristof

With well over 35 million Spanish speakers in the United States, and with over 40% of the population growth being among the Hispanic people, the stage is set for an enormous increase in Spanish usage in the United States. This has sparked a lot of interest among US citizens. This interest will only increase as the Hispanic population of the US approaches 50 million by the year 2015. But it's not only in the US where Spanish is popular. In Europe, Spanish is the second most popular second language, after English.
